Introduction

Hi! My name is Edgard, and this is my music blog.

​

This blog was something I had been wanting to do for a while now and I figured that, since I was graduating with my bachelor's in Journalism soon, now's as good a time as any.

My goal in creating this blog was to not only shine a light upon the musicians who make up the local music scene that I am a part of, but to also find some way—some method of articulating the thoughts that go into creating the music that these people make. How does any of it work? How is this music created and how do the people who create it work? What are their goals, their ambitions in life? And—what are some of the struggles they face in trying to achieve those goals? Through these stories, I wanted to humanize the artists I worked with, explore their outlooks on life and illustrate some of the ways that I relate to them, too.
